All I've done so far is to give it a coat of grey primer then a dirty water wash. I've then started picking out some of the details and painting the glyphs, I think there's a bit much yellow so I will paint over some of it and some of the colours look a bit bright so need toning down. |

The color palette is fine, though I agree it's a little bright, and much too clean. Oil, dirt, grime, scorch marks, battle damage, any or all of these gently (don't feel the need to set the whole thing on fire, weathering is easily overdone) applied would help to balance the colors and give it that fought in feel of most Ork war-gear. |
