Awesome model. It's good to see someone actually thinking about lighting. Your Sky NMM is good but i think the breathing apparatus in the middle of his chest looks a bit chalky or thick. Your conversion skills are excellent, the base is really well painted. I like the OSL a lot but I think you should have done a bit more on the lightning claws. I think I can see a little on the left hand knuckles but none on the right. It would make sense to do some on the claws of the fist but as its flowing with energy i wouldn't have a clue how you would do that. The face is stunning. Did you follow a tutorial for the pre-heresy armour or was is something you did yourself. I would like to know how you did it!

Hey slappy wow this was 2 years ago...never realized that i had comments on my pictures...anyways its probably too late but yes your comments are totally right on. the breathing apparatus is not well painted and i could make the claws pop more. i sold these figures already so i wont be able to work on it further unfortunately ): I got some idea to use the dreadnought shin pads from a plog somewhere i forget...but if you want to know how it was done PM me and we can chat! |
