I've filled the gaps with Milliput. You can see the doors are hatches off a Devilfish. I have several crappy D'fishes bought secondhand off eBay for a different project. Hatches similar to this could easily be made using Plasticard.

Kilkrazy 2011-04-01 10:11:05 You can get these plastic soup bowls for £1.29 and they only need a quick spray to start looking good.
They are pretty simple to customise more if you want to. See my finished terrain gallery.
