Image Description:
The colour scheme for my custom chapter, a greek myth/sheep themed (no really) Imperial Fists successor chapter named the Golden Rams.
I wanted to paint a metallic gold chapter scheme but also a halved or quartered one. I think the white adds a 'venerable' feeling of old greek marble statues and architecture (and the sheepy colour) while the black is a bold contrast with both main colours, as well as a solid base for shoulder markings and a subtle connection with the 'Fists.
TL;DR: it floats my boat the most, of the schemes I tried. Next stop, styrene and acrylic. |
