That is the most intimidating model I have ever seen. Great job! |

The rounded shoulder plates remind of GW's first Terminator miniature ever. Well done :) |

 Cheers, guys!
The finished model''s in my gallery as well, in case you're interested. And in my World Eaters army log.
@ Inquisitor Hein: Well spotted! The model was indeed intended to be a re-interpretation of those ancient Mk. 1 Terminators, using modern plastic bitz. |

This thing is pretty sweet. I've been looking at trying something similar for a while now, can I ask what bits you used to get the shoulders looking right? I think I've figured everything out but them. |

Cheers, mate: No big deal, actually: I used some armour plates from the Heldrake legs and a shaved down pauldron from the Chaos Knights (above the model's head), and it turned out exactly the look I wanted -- below the shoulder pads, he looks like any bog standard chaos termie lord ;) |

Crazy cool. Hammer is a bit too Space Wolf though. |

The hammer was chosen because it also recalled the World Eaters' origins as the War Hounds legion (with a heraldic device not so different from that of the Space Wolves). In fact, this aspect plays into the model's background. |
