I know it's not original but this the start of my version of the Tyralien, or Alienid, or what-have-you. Since the Genestealer is the original Tyranid, AND GW took the idea from Aliens to begin with, I figured that the Genestealer was just taking it back to the source material.
As of now, I have 48 of approximately 120 Genestealers done, 0 of 9 Broodlords done, and 0 of 1 Deathleaper done. I'll post more when I have the chance.
The head is nothing but greenstuff, and the Genestealers themselves will cover every iteration from the original, through the blue Space Hulk version to today.
Something funny I noticed. I was playing the 2010 PC version of "Aliens vs. Predator" last night. When you play as the Alien, and you look at your arm, it IS the non-rending claw hand and forearm of the modern Genestealer model. The finger separation and forearm muscle pattern is literally identical. |
