Hi,
I started work in late December 2013 and I finished in February 2014. It was an exciting challenge, because for a long time I dreamed about making the Argonath. The terrain was created from scratch. We planned for this project colors in a dark atmosphere. Due to the composition and limited size of diorama I introduced a short section of the river that ran through the lake to the waterfall. And also from the front I introduced elevated section of the river.
Dioramas dimension: 50 x 80 x 57 cm (width x length x height).

Unqestionably the best painting I have EVER SCENE on Dakka. I mean this is just... There are no words to describe what this is...Pretty much, I've given up on painting because, that right there, is something I will never be able to do .... ever.... |

11/10! At first glance I thought this was a small scale diorama, like those little porcelain English country village type ornaments, then I realised those are actual GW LoTR miniatures in the boats - GOBSMACKED! This so mental-good, I'd love to see it in the flesh so to speak, walk around it a few times and just take that stunning scene all in. Love it, very well done! |
