Got inspired to create this after ranting to friends about how stupid it is to go to the effort of creating a mechanical hand and then mounting a shield to the back of it.
Further inspiration came from the 'traversum coils' on the scyllax gaurdian automata and the 'mechantendrils' on the chaos warpsmith - the uroboros virus you fight in the lab in resident evil 5 is where i'm going with the final finish of this arm - this is the supporting structure bent into shape. Many wires will be weaving from the off-white socket to that yellow bit along the main cable. |
