Dal'yth Dude Painting 8/10, Coolness 8/10 @ 2010-01-09 05:38:08 Interesting use of stripes without the garish yellow. Pretty clean paint job but f anything in 40K is clean in the Imperium it'd be AM stuff.

BrassScorpion 2010-01-09 05:46:54 Thanks very much. The idea of using stripes came from the alternating black and white themes created by GW on Mechanicus badges. I thought the repetition of the idea using stripes as a coherent theme and accent throughout the models would set off the burgundy color nicely. I can only take credit for the tanks, the board was done by employees at the Battle Bunker in Maryland, which is where I took the photos since I have had these models on display there for many months now.
