Image Description: I painted these models many years ago after getting the Sgt. Centurius model on the special promotional day in GW stores when he was offered. The other models are ordinary Space Marines painted with free-hand Legion of the Damned (LotD) designs. Each model in the squad has unique markings. For example, one has flame designs that are all comet-shaped. Another has flames that appear to be blown backwards on his helmet and power fist arm. Another has flames emanating from below the eye lenses of his helmet. I am currently working on a full 10-man squad built and converted entirely from regular plastic multi-part Space Marine models. Some of the better ideas from this display piece will make it onto my new game-ready squad when finished, like the comet motif and the leg bones painted on leg armor.
