I always thought that the void shield buildings were a little silly. To me it makes much more sense to have a dedicated mobile platform that could move with the army and set the shield when/where needed.
Here are the early test fittings with the plasma globe. I just grabbed a $10 battery powered plasma globe off of Amazon. |
