 These are your first attempts? Well, looks like the right way to me. They are clean and well painted (I've just thought about my first minis, painted with Humbrol emanell colors). In my opinion your Miniatures are a little bit too glossy (maybe it's just the photo) and shiny for a couple of guys on battlefields in 40k. So stay on and never get tired of learning some new techniques. |

 Thanks guys, I have a can of matte varnish but I wasn't sure if I should give them a coat or not, reading about it online kinda scared me off of it. I did the bases with a simple dry mud look, you can see pictures of the finished bases in my cultists gallery. |
