I love this closeup as it shows off the custom icon I made from spare bits to go on top of this guy's armour, plus I'm really pleased with how the claws turn out; starting from dark angels green I just layered on lighter and lighter greens then the green highlight colour, with light green washes in between; no need for mixing or blending as I'm terrible at both. I also love the style of the Cataphractii Edward Scissor Hands Lightning Claws. Unfortunately the image also highlights that I couldn't get black paint to stay on the inside around the head, no idea why (just kept evaporating or whatever). |
