Basilisk gifted quite a few X-Masses ago, it had remained assembled but unpainted for nearly 4 years...
The two models loading the gun are metal OOP Imperial Guard Basilisk crew models modified with Kolony Militia heads, and extensive greenstuffing to add greatcoats and gloves so that they fit in more closely with the Armaggedon Steel Legion models that make up the vast bulk of the rest of my army. The plastic commander and driver which came with the kit were given similar treatment....
The tank was undercoated with mechanicum standard grey, with leadbelcher applied to larger areas such as tracks, gun barrel and breech. The tank was then given a dirty wash of diluted black, dawnstone and mournfang brown and drybrushed with dawnstone. |
