First Hive Tyrant, almost done. The base isn't painted because I'm waiting on some resin bases from Dark Arts to arrive. It might be heard to see on the photo, but the purple carapace has highlights at the edges (first time using highlights, heh). The Venom Cannon/Bonesword are brighter at the ends too (50:50 Blood Red/Mechrite Red at ends, more Mechrite in the mix towards the other one.
Also, first model I've absolutely hated putting together in a while. Even pinning the torso it took ages to fix, there's just a ridiculous amount of weight in the model. GW, make a plastic kit of this, please. ._. |
