Like 99% of people who play Blood Angels, I hate the Lemartes model. This is probably the easiest way to show him. I got the idea from a blog called 'picster' so I can't take credit for it (and he does a lot of GS work, which I can't do).
Basically, I used the Chaplain with Jump Pack model, but used his Jump Pack on my Honour Guard Standard Bearer. I found a cheap Dante Jump Pack on Ebay (which has BA insignia on it!), and used that. The 'spiked halo' round his helmet is from the SM Devastator box. Just find the Servo-skull with this piece on, and clip it off. It doesn't even need resizing, as it fits the Chaplain's helmet perfectly.
Should Lemartes ever get a good model, this guy will move to a regular DC Chaplain. He'll be painted once the new 'Dex hits. |
