It's a chaos artifact, but TungstenMonkey gets the prize.
The chaos themed army was planned to be using the Necron 'dex on account of the army style being really weird if you take away the 'cron context.
The cube would have been the focal point of the army; floating about, summoning units and belching out warpfire. |

If you read the book "Legion," by Dan Abnett, you'd learn that the black cubes (Which their are only 5 of in existence,) have the power to destroy an entire planet in less than a couple days. Only in a much more flesh melting and painful way than an Exterminatus. Very cool model. :} |

I like this, I really like the idea :D and C'tan shard, sure! Monolith? no. for that it's WAAAAY too small, monoliths are HUGE!
I'm really interested for the rest of the army!
