The model, 'Nork Deddog' from Games Workshop's Warhammer 40k range, was completed within a week, just in time for our first 40k tournament in Lowestoft. We used several fairly bold colors for the miniature to bring it all together and did a custom base to boot! The inverted highlighting technique was used on the armour and the skin actually started with a base of dark purple which was shaded up 15 times with flesh color to help give the skin a bruised look, fitting for an Ogryn!
