Base assembly completed. Used some of the leftover spare bits to cover up holes and replace lost handles. The fogged over areas (via superglue) were deliberate. It's a CHEMICAL recon vehicle after all. Those areas will get a bit of corrosion effects. I figure that Papa Nurgle's holiday gifts to the Imperium and nasty bio-chemical contaminated warzones would be hard on such equipment, warranting frequent parts replacement and decon procedures. This example will be "dressed up" as if it were still in the field. The next step is going to be filling in the gaps with Testors putty. |

Nice stuff, the Japanese Self Defence Force is a great source of modern vehicles that players won't immediately recognize. Their jeeps for example are great modern light vehicles that won't immediately say 'hummer'. |

Indeed. And the beauty thing is that Tamiya just released a 1/48 scale Type 10 MBT and Komatsu Light Armored Vehicle. I'm planning on snatching some of them up in the future. |
