It was the Lamenters, shattered and broken and war-weary, who first imparted the secrets of Librarian dreadnoughts to the Lost Companies; abandoning a horrifically damaged Furioso Librarian frame. This frame was later used to inter Baremund Beast-Bane, and served for years as a standard dreadnought might. With the addition of the Magi of the Taghmata Hvergelmir, the esoteric systems of the Librarian chassis could be better examined, and rough approximations were designed. It was only many centuries later, after the Steel Wars, that these designs were resurrected and fitted to the dreadnoughts assigned to the Runic Brotherhoods. |
