Image Description: The whole point of this was to test the 'undercoat white, wash with Casandora Yellow' technique I'd heard about. The wash is still drying a bit in a few places here, but look at how yellow he turns out. More coats = more yellow, probably, but I'm okay with him being a duller colour.
Tip: Don't let the arm rest against the chest like I did here, as the wash will leave an unsightly watermark as it dries. Oops. Ironically, this was exactly the thing I was trying to prevent by having him partly assembled as the wash dried. |
