C.O. Welcher has been "trying" to get the dogged Cpl his pay and rank fixed, but the heavily augmetic soldier has just been too valuable where he is.
A bit about the model himself.
I was looking through my bits bins and one particular torso just kind of came out at me.
After studying it a little while, I decided that it deserved to be that of a heavily augmetic trooper, and dug around for suitable bits. This is one of those guys that essentially built himself from spare parts, as far as finding the right pieces go.
His left arm is a gently modified Cadians Command Squad bionic arm, and the Right arm is from the same sprue.
The legs are from a Catachan, the torso an as-of-yet unidentified sprue.
The backpack is half flamer tank, which I had filed down to fit with how I positioned it, and one half Voxcaster backpack.
The head was from the Baneblade's commander sprue, taking the gasmasked head, and the skull in the middle? I had some skulls with wings hanging around from having bought an inordinate amount of Chimera chassis vehicles, and cut the skull out of them.
Only a pinhead-sized amount of GS was used, mostly to reposition the left arm at the shoulder, after cutting the arm off below the armor plate and repositioning it that way. |
