Just got done with a major working over of this librarian figure. Funny that it's one of my most recent marine figures, but I bet it's at least 7 years old (edit: apparently 17, thanks WM). Anyway, I added the highlights on the armor, painted the eyes a-la GW's tutorial on their web site, painted the axe a-la the White Dwarf how-to of a couple of months ago (crystal weapons), washed & highlighted the skulls, seals, book and chest plate, drilled the gun barrel & generally touched things up. You know I've been gaming a long time when, up until the last year... this was one of most "modern" marine models... |
