Simple mechrite red basecoat over the primer. Done with an airbrush. GW's foundation paints sure are a pain to airbrush...
Can see a little of the customization I've done in this shot. Added some tyranid claw marks to the side of the missile launcher. I intend to make this dreadnought look as though he's been in the field for a bit, with some superficial battle scars, worn paint, and a decent helping of dirt/dust. |
