Image Description: The first image compilation of my first KT guy (and first figure painted since Reaper Mini days decades ago). He is KK-871, standing for Kuroda Kanbei, a famous tactician from the Sengoku (Warring States) period of Japanese history, and also the mascot for the city I used to live in (871 is the JP Zip Code for Nakatsu, too!).
He was the first bits of sculpting with Green Stuff I tried, for his front lapels (a theme that my entire KT has now), sandals, and signal fan. Originally painted (as of this photo) with Mr.Hobby enamel paints, he's since been touched up and highlighted with Vallejo acrylics on top. |
