Uh, wasn't sure which forum to put this in. I didn't see it posted up yet, so I figured I'd throw it up.

Full props to spikeydavid for putting it together.

Australia

Thanks, this is a nice read. I'm a little surprised at how well tau and dark eldar have done. I think the no-comp helps them. Comp (here in Australia) tends to reward guard killers and punish marine killers in an army. In a no-comp environment, the marine-killers are plenty, thus Geq do better.

Then again I'm probably very wrong and it's just mobility that wins.

I think you'd see far different results if you split up Chaos into "competitive" and "trash" groups My hunch would be that if IW had their own category, they'd be in the top 3-4 for all of'em.

I think DE are actually really really competitive even without having these statistics: They kill MEQs like crazy, they're super mobile, and uh, they're mobile. Yeah.

Lurking about

Wow, great write-up. very interesting. I must say that I am a bit surprised at the success of the DE, small sample size aside. I shouldn't be too surprised, given their extreme mobility, and, to a lesser extent, the general unfamiliarity with the codex (I know I've never read one, perhaps never even had one in my hands).

Math sure can come in handy!
