Errr, dunno, but you can tweak the url to get to it:

From:

Change 'list' to 'blog':

Yup. The Blog View link appears beside 'First Unread' on the forum page.

I've only seen the option for a 'button' once the thread hits a certain number of posts.

Side note: What's the purpose of blog view? what does it really change?

It cuts down the thread to only substantial posts made by the OP, so rather than having to wade through 50 pages to catch up with a blog, you can hit Blog View and just see the posts with pics or a lot of text in them by the blog's owner.
