Sorry for the delay on these, I had a crazy RL week and am still trying to get all the pictures.
Game 1 - Khorne Daemons vs. Ananda's Nurgle Daemons
The Warbringer watched as reality started to bleed into the warp. His bloodletting had been sufficient and his army was arrayed at his back. Ss'artan had mustered his own army and declared a challenge against the Warbringer but the arena had settled it and the Warbringer retained the Whip of Command. Ss'artan would have to be watched, of course, but the promise of mortal skulls and souls was enough to secure his loyalty for the near future.
The Warbringer started to bark an order when bile raised up in the back of his throat. The "air" of the empyrean became murky, smoglike with a stench like open sores and week old corpses.
"Surely you were going to share this little gate, blood dog."
The Warbringer turned and saw a massive Great Unclean One borne aloft on the backs of a thousand nurglings.
"Ku'gath." The Warbringer spat on the ground. "I'll not share my spoils with the likes of you." He turned to his gathered warriors. "Consider this an appetizer of the conflict ahead! Collect the one eyed skulls! Offer them to the lord Khorne and gain his blessings!"
Army Lists
I am going to list my army on each of the battle reports for the
GT - obviously it won't change throughout, but someone who just stumbles upon one will not have to flip back and forth to figure out what I played. My opponent lists are from memory for the most part so there may be some minor discrepencies which are totally on me.

Setup and early game
I got to the table and saw an absolutely gorgeous Nurgle army - it actually ended up winning both best painted and player's choice. This looked to be an interesting and fun game. Daemons on daemons always ends up being a bit wacky but, I definitely had the advantage for this game by ignoring their feel no pain rules.
This mission had 5 objectives which we both placed as centrally as possible (as daemon players are typically wont to do.)
Ananda won the roll to go first and chose to make me take it. Table side was irrelevant so we just stayed where we were and started the game.
My preferred wave was both units of bloodcrushers, The Warbringer,
Sc'yll, and a unit of bloodletters. Khorne was pleased with my strategy and everything appeared mostly on target in the center of the table. I used my run moves to "explode" out and make as large of footprints as possible in order to deny any good interior deployment areas.
Nurgle was also pleased with Ananda's choice and Ku'gath, Epidemius with 20 of his closest friends as well as some other plaguebearers showed up mostly on target as well as two beasts of nurgle who appeared nearby to help Ku'gath out. One unit of plaguebearers may have ended up back in reserve. Epi and company came in just west of the center of the table on the south side, Ku'gath was more to the east behind a group of trees but in charge range of the Warbringer. The plaguebearers spread out a bit and Ku'gath tossed an exploding nurgling which caused a one of the bloodcrushers to develop a nasty rash.
On my turn I decide to charge Ku'gath with the Warbringer. I don't figure it to be a great plan, but I hoped to keep him tied up for a couple of turns. For some reason I was really worried about his battlecannon. Must be too much Templars holdover I suppose. The Warbringer takes a couple of wounds and does a couple in return (I was charging through cover so the big guy got to go first.)
The beasts set up the assault on the Warbringer and charge in - the Warbringer continues to direct his attack on Ku'gath and neither side wounds the other drawing the combat.
The bloodcrushers in the center of the table move toward epidimius and company and set up a charge. Because I had to move through difficult terrain they got to go first but were unable to do much. The bloodcrushers in return killed a few of the plaguebearers and forced epidemius to leave his cocoon of pus and get into base to base. It also set up a charge for
Ss'artan on Epi.
A unit of plaguebearers appears off of the icon from Epi's squad and the soulgrinder charges in to lock them up and keep them away from the objective.
One of the Daemon Princes of Nurgle appears off the same icon in the following turn and moves around to set up a charge on the soulgrinder.
Mid-game to end game
Ss'artan moves over to claim Epidemius' head.
Ss'artan collects the Tallyman's skull.
Ku'gath and the beasts finish the Warbringer and move towards the center of the table to contest objectives. The bloodcrushers move through the ruins to set up a charge on Ku'gath and the beasts knowing that they will not be able to beat him, but they hope to pin him in place. The rest of Epidemius' crew soon follow.
The Kithless (my Daemon Prince) tries to appear right on top of Ku'Gath and is instead transported to a distant corner of the table.
Ss'artan sees that the bloodcrushers tied up with Ku'gath and the beasts are in a bit of trouble and because two of the objectives nearby are being claimed by my bloodletters he decided to charge in and hopefully tie them up a bit longer. He was successful in dispatching the beasts but once he moved into base to base with the plaguefather things started looking grim.
The nurgle daemon prince spends a couple of turns before he is finally able to destroy the soulgrinder.
The final unit of plaguebearers appears but scatters onto the bloodletters and is set to the most distant table quarter from the objectives and spends the rest of the game slowly and purposefully moving towards it.
Another unit of plaguebearers appears on the west and we see if 8 bloodletters can deal with 7 plaguebearers. The answer, at least on this particular charge, is yes. They were wiped out and the bloodletters consolidated back towards the objective. At this point, I clearly had 2 objectives to 0 but the grasp was tenuous - Ku'gath would soon be free and there was a nurgle daemon prince on the rampage and that last unit would eventually make it to am objective.
Ku'gath kills his second bloodthirster of the game.
Turn 5 comes around and the writing is pretty clear on the wall - if the game ends this turn, I win. Any other result is a draw and best and a loss more likely.
The game ended. I got an 18-6 win (17 points for the win plus one for killing most expensive unit.)
After action review
This was an incredibly close game that the report doesn't really show. I also had taken a few pictures during the course of the game but they didn't come out. Too much chaos I suppose. Both armies performed as expected, Khorne is a quick sucker punch to the jaw but if your opponent doesn't go down, you are a in a world of trouble. The nurgle daemons stuck in there and would have inevitably won any war of attrition.
Ku'gath is an absolute beast. I underestimated him immensely - after the game Ananda mentioned that really the only thing in the game that has stood up to him one on one is Marneus Calgar. Lord of War indeed.
Eternal Praise
The bloodcrushers did a great job of holding things up and killing off lots of plaguebearers.
Prized Skull
Epidemius'
Eternal Damnation
The Warbringer stunk it up in combat against Ku'gath. I didn't expect him to win, but thought him might at least get the fatty down to half wounds.
The rift opened fully causing an immediate cessation of the battle. The Warbringer stood and felt the power of reality flowing through the rift and into him. The wounds were healed instantly and, it seemed Ku'gath's more lingering "gifts" had faded as well. Both daemon armies glanced at each other once more before hastening through the dilated rift into real space. They had an eternity to continue their battle, but the time in realspace was fleeting.
