So yeah, my brother and his friends talked me into start playing warhammer, and in about a month we're going to a sommer cottage to spend an entire week playing the game.. I don't want to be completely humiliated, so im asking for your help

Pat that askala, O-H-I hate this stupid state

I'm going to give you just a few tips because I've only fought Tau a handful of times and don't know much about them. when playing orks you need something that will take out large numbers of them at once like a weapon that fires a large blast template because you are probably going up against 80 boyz. With thousand sons you need some heavy hitting weapons since they have 4+ invulnerable saves. Last with space marines it depends on how the person you are playing them equips them but i would say you should focus on trying to use some devilfish as shields in front of troops and your guys can fire under them since they are skimmers. Hopefully this helps and good luck.

So, against Orks i could go with twinlinked flamers for my suits?

Also, shooting under my own skimmer vehicles yeah, but can't the enemy shoot under them as well?

And, should I swap my gundrones for another devilfish? It'll be hard to cut down points anywhere else.. And I imagine i wont be pinning much, since orks got that mobs rule, and the chaos are fearless

Not sure about the skimmer rules. I would drop the gundrones for the devilfish. Tau is a shooty army so the more fire power and cover you have the better. Watch for infiltrators like Snikrot from the orks. He has mowed through squads of my guys like butter. Close combat is not your friend so stay out of it as much as you can.
