Greetz one and all,

I’ve been lurking here for some time; but found it was time to post.
Currently some friends and me are collecting an Empire army; each one does his own province. I chose Ostermark.

I dunno, I personally like the dwarves. You've done a good job on them, and Ostermark is an interesting colour for soldiers...need to do more research on the Empire....anywho...should look very vibrant as an entire army. Keep up the good work.
PS: Post your pictures directly onto Dakka, a lot of people find it too dificult to click a link...

A few pix in the post for the lazy (no harm intended)

The latest; one of 2 Imperial dwarfs; not my favourite thus far; but good enough for the table top

the dwarfs in the green

The corpse handler; not yet painted; I don't know what he will do in the game maybe a priest; maybe a wizard maybe just a champion in the militia. who will tell.

the first painted models, the one on the left has a bit of a bad eye due to gs reconstruction. he normally has his hat over his eye

again one I am not so sure of; could be the start of my great swords; could be a guard of my arch lector; could be lot of things; for now he will be the leader of the gang for small skirmishes.

The tower I am working on; still lot of work; all the roof tiles and stuff; man I almost hate plastic card by now

C&c welcome. a bit more pix and info on my blog Greetz

I love them, very characterful. The corpse handler is especially excellent.

Is there any possibility of a tutorial on the building?

The general especially pops, well done!

These are Bechafen City Guard then, since Ostermark is brown and yellow?

Also I read that Ostermark occasionally uses units of Dwarven Slayers. You should ask your regular gaming friends about allowing you to incorporate them for friendly matches.

(bottom one)
But if I'm wrong I'd like to know what is right. In other words what is your source on the colour scheme?

I was thinking of incorparating the slayers in my Free Company or even make a flaglant unit out of them

http://warhammeronline.wikia.com/wiki/Ostermark

"The capital of Ostermark is Bechafen which lies in the northern part.... ...The state colours of Ostermark are Brown and Yellow. A variation is the Bechafen City Guard who has Purple and Yellow uniforms. "

We actually need this:

http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat1300181&prodId=prod2120005

Which would give the most definitive answer.

I have the uniforms and heraldry book. The purple variates from blueish to burgondy purple but never brown. Yellow somtimes becomes eggwhite and (orange) red is an important 3the colour. The older books I have laying around here stay pretty much to same scheme. (later editions prefer a more red purple then I use)

but thanks for the link

Ah, fair enough then.

What colours does it give for Bechafen City then?
