Seeing as though I made a complete math balls up on my first two lists in this thread: http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/288479.page , I thought i'd post my complete listings at 1500 and 2000 pts. I tried to make a competitive list, but I found none of the HQs gave a lot to my armies, so I went with something as near competitive as I could get.

First the 1500 pt list:

Prince Yriel = 155

Farseer = 98
Doom, Runes of Warding, Singing Spear.

5 Fire Dragons = 205
Wave Serpent With TL Scatter Laser And Spirit Stones.

10 Dire Avengers = 292
Exarch, 2 Shuriken Catapults, Bladestorm, Defend, Wave Serpent With TL Scatter Laser And Spirit Stones.

I included Yriel as I liked the model and he does have some kool rules. The Farseer was added to put a small dent to opposing Psykers.

Now the 2000 point list:

Farseer:
Doom, Fortune, Runes of Warding, Singing Spear, Spirit Stones.
Warlocks:
1 Singing Spear, Embolden, Enhance, 2 Destructor.

Falcon with Scatter Laser, Holo Field, Spirit Stones.

I included the Rangers for one reason - I couldn't fit much else in for the remaining points.

Well, frankly, I wouldn't consider two HQ's at the 1500 pt level.
The Farseer needs both runes if you face Nids.

I agree with Wuest here. Good lists. My criticism:

Yriel really has no place in your first list (not because he's a second HQ, but because he's got nothing to roll around with to kill things. Your entire army is a floating gunboat squadron. He would have to disembark like that crazy idiot.

Your second list is different in that regard. Yriel + Seer + Warlocks can be disgusting against everything. Harlequins or Scorpions also fit that role quite well. The Rangers are fine really at 2k they can Objective camp. Having a counter-assault component at 2k is important.

Yeah, I'm having major issues with finding a suitable HQ, so he will have to go with the DA to bolster the line.

A friend told me to drop a unit of FD and get a seer council in a falcon. I'm not sure of this.

A small Council doesn't cut it.
You need about 8 Warlocks led by a fortuning Farseer with both runes.
