Alright, so after reading some Ordo Xenos fluff, I've decided I want to start a small, themed Deathwatch detachment. Now, this may not be the most competitive army list, but I'm really not worried about it being competitive so much as it being fluffy.

I'll be using the vanilla Marines codex for this one.

List is as follows:

1000 points

Chaplain +130
-Terminator Armor

5 Terminators +235
-Assault Cannon, Chainfist

10 Sternguard Veterans +250

Venerable Dreadnought +205
-TL Lascannon, Heavy Flamer

5 Scout Snipers +90
-5 Camo Cloaks

5 Scout Snipers +90
-5 Camo Cloaks

I chose Sniper Scouts as my Troops because 1) Tac Marines would be too hard to differentiate from the Sternguards and 2) I can't imagine the Deathwatch not deploying snipers. Perhaps initiates of the Officio Assassinorum? And the Venerable Dread is Venerable because I had 65 points to blow after all was said and done. I want to use the Chaplain Dreadnought model from FW for him, but to save some money I may just bling up a regular Dreadnought with some Deathwatch iconography.

Any advice on making this list fluffier, NOT more competitive, is welcome.
