In preparation for DakkaCon Philly in January, I started a BB team. Blood Bowl looks like it will be a side event for the Con but it seems that at least RiTides will also bring a team. As a fan of the Baltimore Ravens, it wasn't difficult to name my Dark Elves. I think Malus Darkblade even calls his retinue "sea ravens" at one point in the awesome Abnett/Lee series, which must have been floating around in the back of my mind. And of all the Dark Elf territories, a Sea Ravens team could only hail from Clar Karond, right?

Well, enjoy the first few pics here. There are nine poses in all for the twelve players (not a bad ratio) and I will try to post pics of all of them as I get them done.

Nice more blood bowl. personally i dont like the models but i like what you did too them. you should look out for those new winch models for the Dark Eldar range they make really awesome BB players.
do you want too post a team rooster? i like too see what your playing with and your tactics for the team.

I play a Ogre team (yes they are bad i know) but my tactics some times work.

And you know the only team worth cheering for are the New Orleans Saints

I'm totally new to BB, never even played a single game outside of the Xbox version. So, I'm not completely sure of the roster--just painting what I have so far. I have found a number of interesting tactics articles for the DE team outside of Dakka. Thanks for you comments, however. I, too, am not thrilled about these models. But I thought I would test out some techniques for painting the new Dark Eldar.

I like the painting, although I too prefer the second model sculpt over the first . Looking forward to seeing the whole team together!!!

my team is not a GW team so i dont have that problem. i have halfling sized skeletons and then werewolfs as ogre's. but yah older models ftw but that doesnt mean that they are good looking. i personaly love the Ally Perry dwarfs
