Blood Angels Fellblade: Sanctomonia Cruoris
The Fellblade is one of the most ancient war machines available to the forces of the Imperium. Much like its other heavily armed brethren the Fellblade bristles with potent weapons capable of laying low the most powerful of foes. However, what makes the Fellblade most dangerous is not its formidable guns or massive treads, it is that this hammer of mankind lies within the hands of the Adeptus Astartes, the Space Marines.
Once a common site along side the elite of the Emperor during the Great Crusades there are but a scant handful remaining amongst the original Legions. However, in the midst of these few are the Fellblades of Renown, artifacts of war that rise up like gods above the titans. One such as this is the Fellblade of the Blood Angels known in antiquity as the Sanctimonia of Cruor, the Purity of the Blood.
As old as the Chapter itself, the Sanctimonia of Cruor was used as the test bed for many of the new technologies and weapons discovered by the Blood Angels during the Great Crusade. Although not always in the same configuration, the Sanctimonia of Cruor was forever at the forefront of battle and has the great distinction of being one of the few recorded vehicle to have participated in the Battle of Terra during the Horus Heresy and survived to this day. Even though its current pattern has not changed in nearly three thousand years the tomes of Master of the Forge still identifies its present form as “Experimental.”
Now a treasured relic, the Sanctimonia of Cruor is only awoken from its slumber when the call to arms is so great that the entire Blood Angels Chapter is mobilized. It last took to the fields of war during the Second Battle for Armageddon. During the initial bombardment outside the Hive of Hades the Blood Angel performed a daring move deploying the Sanctimonia of Cruor and a squadron of Baal class predators by rapid insertion into the heart of the ork horde. In less than a minute the sheer firepower of the Sanctimonia of Cruor and its comrades massacred the xenos within a half a kilometer of their drop zone in all directions. By the time the orks could regroup the void had been filled with the entire 3rd company and elements of the 1st. The Blood Angels had established their beach head allowing the rest of their angelic host to descent from the heavens and wage war against the invaders.

Imperial Fists Fellblade: Iron Breaker
One such as this is the Fellblade of the Imperial Fists known in antiquity as the Iron Breaker.
During the time of the Great Crusade is was common amongst the Astartes to modify and sometimes completely rebuild their Fellblades in the never ending quest to forge the perfect war machine. The Imperial Fists were no exception and it was the Master Techmarine Olivander Stormhammer that created perhaps the most well known of these reinventions.
Constructed during the siege of the fortress world of Stratovaust the Iron Breaker proved invaluable against the untold thousands of bunkers and the kilometer of trenches and barricades that surrounded them. The massive siege cannons turned the ferrocrete defenses into powder while its bolters shredded all those foolish enough to stand before it’s might.
At the conclusion of the Ullanor Crusade the Iron Breaker accompanied the Imperial Fists and the Emperor back to Terra where it was placed in the arsenal assigned with the task of protecting the Imperial Palace. Here it served faithfully during the Horus Heresy being one of the few recorded vehicle to have participated in the Defense of Terra and survived to this day. Soon afterwards the Iron Breaker served again as a mobile stronghold against their traitorous brethren, the Iron Warriors, during the assault on the Eternal Fortress on the world of Sebastus IV, known as The Iron Cage.
Tales are told of whole worlds surrendering at the sight of this enormous war machine as it represents the might the Emperor can unleash against his foes through the Imperial Fists. A veteran of over seven thousand battles the Iron Breaker has the distinction of being the only Fellblade to have remained in active service since the awakening of its machine spirit many millennia ago. So successful was the Iron Breaker that centuries later the Adeptus Mechanicus adopted the design for the Imperial Guard naming it posthumously after its creator, the Stormhammer.

Looks pretty cool. A good, solid anti-infantry super-heavy with both short and long-range capabilities.
If I were you, I'd make one of the following changes
-Cut its price back by 100 points--it doesn't compare favorably to a regular baneblade, especially without the double-dakka option.
-Give it a transport capacity of 30 and the Assault vehicle rule. This would make it more in flavor with the assaultiness of the average BA army.

Actually I think the weapons compare pretty well to the Baneblade. Remember they're all shooting at BS 4 which can make a huge difference when firing a Heavy 15 weapon

So no av14 all round huh, makes sense as after all those weapons fire off there shouldn't be anything left in front or on the sides.

I like it - although for consistency, I feel I should mention the datasheet AC profile says "Rendering" instead of "Rending." EDIT: Also, as a superheavy, it doesn't suffer Crew Stunned/Crew Shaken results. You might want to reword Might of the Omnissiah to: "it ignores one (or the first) Gun Crew Shaken or Driver Stunned result per turn."

cool, and thank you very much for giving me your permission to use these. the legions need something a bit more powerful then the standard fellblade (baneblade cannon with coaxel autocannon, hull demolisher cannon, sponson and turret linked heavy bolters in case you were curious as to the actual fellblades weapons). also are you planning on doing a fellblade for each of the legion (including the traitors)? if so i'd suggest leaving out the raven guard, night lords and world eaters as i cannot see those three legions using fellblades namely due to their tactics of warfare. Salamanders however i could see as having two, one with the melta weapon that is on the reaver and the warhound' flame weapon. just my thoughts and questions though

Let me know how they work out. These rules are a bit of a SWAG, it would be good to see how they do in an actual game. Yes, my plan is to do one for each of the loyalist legions with the exception of the Raven Guard and White Scars for the same reasons you state above. I may do a few for the traitor legions as well but we'll have to wait and see. At the very least I need to build a Plaguereaper and one for the Iron Warriors.

Ahhhh I hate to do this to you, but the rules-nazi in me won't stop screaming in my ear.
Technically vehicles do not take Difficult Terrain tests (they treat it as dangerous, and the BRB just sorta tells you what to do - a "pseudo-dangerous terrain test"). In light of this, Might of the Omnissiah might be better worded as "...In addition, the tank treats all Difficult Terrain as clear." (I'm assuming here that it would not ignore the effects of specifically defined Dangerous Terrain such as lava or whatever - if you want it to ignore that as well, just change it to "treats all terrain as clear").
Again, I apologize for bringing this up, and I think this is awesome stuff and I'm looking forward to more!

To the suggestion of leaving the Fellblade out for the Night Lords.
If you have ever read the Gaunts Ghost novel Sabbat Martyr (I think) there is a bit where a baneblade emits a noise that litterally makes humans freeze in terror.
The Night Lord Fellblade could do this and have appropriate rules for it like an LD test within12" or something.

Shadowsword i believe is the only one simply because it can take targeters in place of the lascannons

I love the model and the rules, but i've to think about the Price Relation... I mean this thing cost more than a Warhound Titan, which I consider superior because of its uber-Armament.
Primary Weapons on a Warhound differ greatly in quality (my point of view), i almost always consider doublebarreled turbolaser & plasma blastgun to be waaay superior to vulcan mega bolter. Even Inferno Cannon is better than the Vulcan.
The Stormlord is a command tank with transport function and a special rule to fire 2x turn (equaling 2 weapons...), while the Stormblade has nothing but a Plasma Blastgun, and is only 50 points cheaper.
The only thing vulcan megabolter excels its counterparts on a warhound is against av 10 & 11 (as a primary weapon being ordnance now..)
In gaming terms, would you prefer your Fellblade, or a Warhound with 2x Turbolaser?
Your tank is fluffy as hell, but I wouldn't like to pay points for fluff...

Yeah that's kind of the problem with most of the super heavies/warmachines in Apocalypse is that the point values rarely work out right for anything. As you rightfully pointed out this Fellblade maybe inferior to a Warhound with dual Turbolasers yet it would be superior to the same Warhound with dual vulcan mega-bolters, yet the Warhound's point cost is the same either way.
I believe the weapon costs is more or less the same as the standard Baneblade but there is jump in cost going from BS3 to BS4. You also need to figure in the the special rules, which add quite a bit more to the point cost over a standard Baneblade. I actually based a lot of it on the special Shadowsword that was in White Dwarf some time ago (I can't remember it's name). Now THAT was one expensive model.
But like I said the point value for this Fellblade was a SWAG and I'd rather be over on points then under. I'm completely open to lowering the point cost if everyone agrees it's too much. That's why I posted it here
So what do you think would be the right point cost? 750? 700?

Yea, you're right with Point-Cost Scaling...
Best example may be the Emperor Titan.. 4000 Points, and significantly better weapon loadout than even 2! Warlords...
I'm going to compare the Fellblade with it's closest counterparts of Apocalypse, the Baneblade & the Shadowsword ( Imperial Armour Vol1 Pdf update from FW), and the Stormlord (IA Apocalypse 2).Anyone who remembers Vehicle Construction Rules may relate...
Both of these are listed with 500 Points
First, the obvious things: the Fellblade has the Command Tank ability included, same ability that Baneblade can purchase for 25.
Considering Blood Angel Squads with Sarges are less likely to fail morale checks than ImpGuard ('cept Commissar Blobs maybe..), it may be 20 points for the Fellblade...
I Assume 25p is ok.
Side Sponsons: I think you can't perfectly compare the Fellblade's BS 4 with Shadowsword's Option for Targeters. On a Shadowsword, the effect of having BS 4 is mediocre in comparison with the effect of having BS 4 on your Fellblade. Volcano Cannon kicks ass even with 1inch more to scatter, and Shadowswords Sideweapons (aside from additional sponsons with Lascannons) are twinlinked anyway
-Remember: Being twin-linked is, under any circumstances, better than +1 BS with direct Shot weapons. And being twin-linked is more usefull with low BS -
Pointswise Shadowsword: you pay 100p for 2 lascannons & 2 twl. Heavy Bolter.. 1 just assume those weapons are equal priced, 25p per weapon, as the Shadowsword may take an additional hullmounted twl. Heavy Bolter for 25.
So for Targetters, you pay ~ 50 Points
Consider the Fellblade has 2 Template, 1 5" Blast, 3 twl. and one normal Weapon at BS 4. Upgraded Shadowsword (575p) has 1 5" Blast, 5twl HBs and 2 normal weapons at BS 4. Looks like the Shadowsword profits a bit more from being BS 4
But the Fellblade's normal weapon is its main weapon....
I Assume 50 Points for BS 4 is ok... 75 at max!
[Edit: The Fortress of Arrogance in Apokalypse is 700 Points, and has BS 4 and 2 abilitys that cost 25 points each, but can't be bought together on a normal chassis, and a mediocre rule against assaulting orks..
Assuming this, BS 4 on a Baneblade Chassis would be 125-150 Points! I think that is overpriced as hell...)
Besides, the Fellblades Minor weapons look like "Land Raider Redeemer" compared to the Baneblade:
Baneblade has 2 Lascannons and a twl. Heavy Bolter,
Fellblade has twl Assault Cannon and Flamestorm Cannons
As the Redeemer LR is 10p cheaper than the Standard one, we can assume 2twl Lascannons and 1 twl Heavy Bolter is worth more than a Twl. Assault Cannon + 2 Flamestorm Cannons + Frag Assault Launcher.
As with the Shadowsword-example, I consider 1 lascannon ~ 25 points, a twl. Lascannon may be 35, 40 at max. (although, on a Razorback, Lascannons and Assault Cannons are far more costly compared to Heavy Bolters..)
So I'd consider flamestorm cannons 30p at max. Being uneffected by BS 4, it may even be less..
I also think the twl. Assault Cannon is at max 15 Points over a twl. Heavy Bolter.. maybe 10.
So, Baneblade's Sponsons and hull twl Heavy Bolter to Fellblade's sponsons and hull twl Assault Cannon:
~ 25 Points
Main Weapon: Sorry, even with BS 3 i consider the Baneblade Cannon being superior to a Bs 4 Vulcan Mega Bolter... I consider it the worst weapon of the "Primary Weapon Range"
On a Stormlord, it feels ok, just because of it's All Power to Weapons special rules..
Despite Shielstripping, Flyer-crippling and Ork-Buggy-bashin', i consider it to be not effective enough.
On a moving Stormlord, you get 7,5 Str 6 Hits, on a stationary you get 15, with your Fellblade you get 10.
Being Ordnance, it's ok against light vehicles, but it does'nt ignore either cover or invulnerable (at this moment, I think you may create a fellblade for grey knights with a Psy-Vulcan Megabolter..just a thought).
Vulcan Mega Bolter against MEQs or everything lower, it is about 8 dead models... I think Baneblade Cannon can inflict more casualties in almost all situation, as it may reroll scatter if co-axial autocannon hits... with 2 shots at Bs 3, it is likely to hit...
I would "grant" you at least 25 Points for using the Mega Bolter instead of BB-Cannon w/ coaxial autocannon..
So it's -25 Points here
Difference with Demolisher Scatter is included in the Targetter-BS-4-Section..
Pintle mounted Stormbolter.... yea, right.... I doubt it that on a super-heavy, bristling with Weapons, it would still be worth 10 points.
On a normal tank like a Rhino or a vindicator, a delay of being immobilized/destroyed may be worth 10 Points...
I think the Fellblade would be stripped of all structure points before every of it's weapons would be destroyed...
Anyway... i use 10 Points for it... duh...
Smoke launcher and Searchlight? Screw this! For free...
So, about 85 Points above Standard Baneblade Cost now!
Now on to the other special rules:
Might of the Omnissiah:
I consider that it works simultaneously with "Primary Weapon". Space Marines are supposed to be mobile, it is fluffy for Blood Angels. ~ 20 Points roughly based on comparison with "Baneblade Steelfury Company Command Tank" in Apocalypse Reload
It also ignores terrain Tests!, not the difficult terrain itself. However, as Superheavy vehicles might reroll a 1 on the test, there is only a 2,5% chance to immobilize yourself. 5 Points at Max for this.
~ 25 Points
Living Relic: This is difficult...Scoring superheavies are only used in special scenarios with extra rules.. This rule is, in essence, Tactical Asset "Hold at all costs" for vehicles.
But concerning the design of the Tank, i can't imagine it being parked on a hill... could be between 25 and 50...
Let's say 40.
From the Heavens: I consider it uses either "monolith" or "drop-pod" DS rules. Then it would easily be about 75 Points.
With "normal" deepstriking rules, about 25 maybe..
Let's say 75.
My final Result: 225 above a normal Baneblade
725 Points is a lot, as for 750, you get a Warhound.
I think it's the special rules that make the point here.
I also now like the fact that Fellblade's main weapon is "weaker" than Baneblade's Turret, but i think it fits the Blood Angels style:
Baneblade is a souped up Leman Russ, your Fellblade is a souped up Baal Predator
I'm looking forward to your next creation ;-)

Wow! I don't think I could have paid someone to do a more indepth analysis of the point cost Thanks Motorhead!
I'm going to bump your recommended point value to 750 just because they typically round up the point cost of super-heavies to the nearest 50.
Great job!

OK, time to talk about the rules for the Iron Breaker. I figured I'd do this before making the final version of the datasheet so we can discuss the point value.
Here it is:
BS:4 F:14 S:13 R:12
Two turret each with Siege Breaker cannons (Range: 48" STR: 10 AP2 Type: Ordnance 2, Large Blast)
Hull mounted twin-linked heavy bolters
Four sponsons, each with one twin-linked heavy bolter and one twin-linked multi-melta
Pintle-mounted storm bolter
Searchlight and smoke launchers
SPECIAL RULES:
Might of the Omnissiah: The Fellblade can ignore the first “Gun Crew Shaken” or “Driver Stunned” result per turn. The tank also automatically passes any difficult or dangerous terrain tests.
Command Tank: The Fellblade is a mobile field HQ. All Imperial Fists units with 24” of the tank may re-roll failed Morale Checks.
Living Relic: Dating back to the time of the Horus Heresy the Fellblade is the iron heart of the Chapter. During battle it counts as a scoring unit.
Combined fire: If both turrets fire at the same target with the Siege Breaker cannons, resolve the shots as a single Strength 10 AP2, Ordnance shot, using the 10" Apocalyptic Blaster marker. In addition, if the target under the hole in the centre of the blaster marker has an armour value roll an additional D6 when determining armour penetration.
Point Value: 900
So what do you think?

I like it.
But I think 800pts perhaps.

The Combined Fire ability seems a bit... lacking. It really only grants you a little more range on the blast, but sacrifices 3 shots (since you get 2 for each turret at other targets).
I'd suggest making the combined shot Twin Linked (like combined Fire Prisms, since you're using both turrets), and make it not be half-strength against vehicles not under the center of the marker.
I feel like that would give a little more incentive to firing both at a single target.

I support making is Str D. That would make sense for delivering the entire payload of those 2 huge turrets into one location, complete destruction.
Maybe make it unable to move if it fire in that matter? I dunno, I like the thought of it concentrating both turrets onto one location and firing a volley that leaves only a smoking crater behind.
Also, to add my two bits to the praise. Excellent work with these, both from a modeling and fluff standpoint. Simply brilliantly done.

Yes it is true would would lose three of the 5" blast template shots but I think you'd get a lot more casulaties with the single 10 inch blast (especially at STR 10 AP2). The Twin-linked ability (I remember right) only gives you the option to reroll the miss with the blast templates. With the pie plate I don't think that would give you much of an advantage. Now STR D would just be overkill
I do like the idea of it not being half strength if it's not under the center of the blast maker, especially considering you have four shells the size of a small cars falling around you. Another option would be to make it AP1 with the Apocalypic Blast.
Or an additional D6 armour penetration for anything under the template.....
