This is my entry into the Pimp my Sorcerer competition that Panic set up a few months ago.

The gist of the competition was to convert one of the then freshly released GW Sorcerer models into a 40k archetype.

Now being an Undead fan I instantly took to the Necromancer and popped into GW and bought myself one on the day of release. Now that is some indication of how taken I was with the idea of this competition as I haven't been in a GW store in yonks and can't even remember paying full RRP!

Anyway I posted my entry last night but wasn't really happy with the photos since they were taken at night with only a desk-lamp to light the pictures. I resolved the take them again but decided not to post them in them in the completion thread as this world have been after last nights deadline so I have made this showcase thread.

I have posted work in progress pictures in the thread so won't repeat them here, but I used the Necromancer mostly, a Grey knight sword, two IG chainswords, a pair of IG issue boots and a ton of GS.

I saw your entry in the Pimp my Sorcerer thread and couldn't pinpoint which model you'd used, it looks nothing like any of the original models. This must have been quite an extensive conversion but as I can see it is well worth it. My entry only took five minutes to convert.
It is very well painted too.

BTW- I'm sure no one will mind you updating the Pimp my Sorcerer thread with your better pictures as you haven't done anything extra with him as far as I can tell.

Somehow I missed this one in the contest! I really like it... offhand I can't even tell which wizard it started out as
