First of all get those individual upgrade costs out before a mod shuts this down. Just list what the upgrades are and the total cost for the unit/model.

-The Crypt Ghouls need Ghasts. The extra attack is great for frontage but more importantly it'll keep your vampires alive through challenges.
-Your Wight King BSB (who I assume is rooming with the Grave Guard) needs the Drakenhof banner.
-The Banner of Blood Keep is way too expensive for what it does, instead just get the Banner of Hellfire, your army needs it anyway.
-I think your necromancer in unnecessary, you've already got three good spellcasters in your vampires.
-One of your vampires needs the Helm of Commandment.
-The Tomb Blade sounds good, but you need to kill four enemies before you turn a points - profit. More importantly skeletons are awful outside of bunkering, it's just not worth it.
-Your skeletons don't need that banner.
-Forget the Sword of Strife, pick up the Dreadlance, hit all the time and actually save 5 points (by also ditching Infinite Hatred)

If you make these changes, I've got you at 2516 points, you can drop 2 skeletons and be at 2500, which I assume is your target.

I made a newer version of the list that went unnoticed after a day or so. That list I'll put bellow. I like everything in it, though I feel the Grave Guard are a tad small. I'm unsure of what to add at 2500 though. bump up the GG? Grab another Vargulf? Another Hero?

Lords: 410
-Vampire Lord, +1 Lvl, Infinite Hatred, Red Fury, Flayed Haiberk, Crown of the Damned, Sword of Battle, Ironcurse Icon(5)-410

Heroes: 195
Vampire, Forbidden Lore, Helm of Commandmnet, BSB, Dragonbane Gem(5)-195

Core: 500
20*Skeletons, Standard Bearer, Muscican-172
40*Ghouls, Ghast-328

Special: 544
20*Grave Guard, Great Weapons, Standard bearer-272
20*Grave Guard, Great Weapons, Standard bearer-272

Rare: 350
Vargulf-175
Vargulf-175

Total:1999

EDIT: Oops let some of those points slip into the written list.

I really like the list you have above. What Lore is the supporting Vampire using? Only comment I have on the list is that the Grave Guard don't have Musicians. You might want to consider dropping something to be able to add a Musician to each unit (perhaps drop Dragonbane Gem, Musician from your Skeletons and Ghast from the Ghouls?).

As for what to add to get to 2500 points, adding another Varghulf is impossible (can't have more than 2 duplicate Rare choices under 3000 points). Obviously, you would have to add some Core to meet the minimum requirement (possibly add Ghouls and split them into 2 units?). As for Rare choices, adding either a Black Coach or a Terrorgheist (depending on what you are having trouble with) could be a useful addition. Cairn Wraiths and/or Banshees are also something I would look at. Alternatively, you could increase Grave Guard unit sizes (or add an additional Grave Guard unit!).

Unfortunately I cannot drop anything in core as they are bare minimum 500 requirement. Dropping the gem and icon seem like a good idea, but then I need one more point that cannot find. As it stands I feel that the list is fine for our learning purposes. Here is what I'm thinking about for 2500.

Lords: 435
-Vampire Lord, +1 Lvl, Infinite Hatred, Red Fury, Flayed Haiberk, Crown of the Damned, Sword of Battle, Blood Drinker (40)-435
Heroes: 205
Vampire, Forbidden Lore, Helm of Commandmnet, BSB, Back Periapt-205
Core: 680
20*Skeletons, Standard Bearer-168
31*Ghouls, Ghast-256
31*Ghouls, Ghast-256
Special: 626
21*Grave Guard, Great Weapons, Full Command, Banner of Hellfire-313
21*Grave Guard, Great Weapons, Full Command, Banner of Eternal Flame-313
Rare: 550
Vargulf-175
Vargulf-175
Black Coach-200
Total: 2496

I would rather take a Sword of Strife than the Blood Drinker to be honest. I think the Blood Drinker isn't really worth it unless your Vampire Lord is running with a unit of Bloodknights (I am not saying that that is a good idea though).

I would also be tempted to drop some Core (to the bare minimum point) to be able to field a Wraith.

As for the Lore on your supporting Vampire, have you decided yet. As you may know, I like combining the Lore of Beasts with a combat oriented Vampire Lord. Alternatively, you could look at the Lore of Light (Pha's Protection, Speed of Light, Birona's Timewarp).

As it turns out my math is a bit off, also typos, on the previous list. In that vain I decided to rework everything, double and triple checking my work. Now I'm sitting with a list I like a lot and seems good on paper for 2500. Also I settled on a Lore, Light as I feel it is the most useful for the army. I'll admit Airmaniac that Beast makes that combat lord all the better, but I like the ability to help out entire units or the whole army, more or less.

Lords: 430
-Vampire Lord, +1 Lvl, Infinite Hatred, Red Fury, Flayed Hauberk, Crown of the Damned, Sword of Strife - 430

Heroes: 250
Vampire, Forbidden Lore, Helm of Commandment, BSB - 190
Carin Wraith - 60

Core: 644
19*Skeletons, Standard Bearer, Musician - 164
29*Ghouls, Ghast - 240
29*Ghouls, Ghast - 240

Special: 626
21*Grave Guard, Great Weapons, Full Command, Banner of Hellfire - 313
21*Grave Guard, Great Weapons, Full Command, Banner of Eternal Flame - 313

Rare: 550
Vargulf - 175
Vargulf - 175
Black Coach – 200

Total = 2500

Looks decent arinoor....but....why do the two exact same units of Ghouls have different point costs?

Going to begin keeping track of my W/L/D record, just so i can track my progress as a general

Onyxian "Stryers" Armored Regiment W/D/L
