Hey I have a friend that was wanting some advice on photographing his miniatures for posting on dakka. I know this will have been a topic extensively covered and recovered. Does anyone one know of any good thread that I can send his way?

This is about as simple as it gets but the results are great. I use a simple digital camera. 12 mega pixel I think which is pretty standard these days. Heres a pic of my set up:



Yeps thats right its a piece of paper and a desk lamp. Quite nice pictures though. Heres one I just took:



Also if you want to add some shading from one direction just change the orientation of the lamp. I tend to just have it looking down on the model. Gives it some nice shades.
