Ikea bins... seems a strange place to start,but thats where it started. Two bins from Ikea...

Imperator Titans rule the battlefield of the 41st Millennium. Bringing 4000 points worth of God-Machine onto the table top is a large undertaking, but with the help of my dad (I'm 31 by the way, this aint some 12 year old's thread), it is exactly what I intend to do.

I had intended to finish the Imperator before posting it on dakka, thereby by-passing the weeks between stages and updating on a day to day basis the long journey it takes from Ikea bin to striding titan... I should mention, it won't actually stride!

Anway, with a large campaign planned for December at Maelstrom Games in Mansfield, it seemed the ideal time to showcase the finished titan. So, in December when the Titan takes to the gaming tables, the thread will be complete.

Without further ado, here are some wip pics!

It's been a while... Quite a while! I knew it was a bad idea to start a thread all that long ago for a project this big. My commitment to the thread, thankfully, wasn't an example of my commitment to the cause! There are still finer detail to be added, stain glass windows and banners for the most part bit below the "Impartor Strife" a Warmonger class Emperor Titan from the Legio Crucius, walks for the very first time!

21 months to build, 21 minutes in the table...

Taken out with much Animosity, by two hierophants and three apocalypse scale c'tan!

She returned to the field of battle on day 2 of the campaign weekend and wrought much vengeance! 2 turns, 2 Reavers dead, 1 Plague Tower a butt load of Orks and a vengeful kill of one of this Heirophant monsters!

All this from a couple of Ikea bins! I love this hobby sometimes!
