Hey guys, so I have an escalation tournament next month and was taking my grey knights, for the 1k games I was thinking of taking something from left field that would be fun to play and also somewhat competitive, I love dreadknights so was playing around with them.

List 1:

Inquisitor Coteaz
Aegis line with quad gun
Dreadknight with Incinerator and Teleporter
Dreadknight with Incinerator and Teleporter
Dreadknght with Heavy psycannon and sword
3 warrior acolytes
2 jokaero, 3 acolytes with plasma guns, 2 acolytes with boltguns

Well, what can I say, 3 dreadknights at 1000 points, enough said, coteaz goes on the quad gun, attached to the 3 warrior acolytes for meat-shield, he will cast prescience on the other squad and use the quad gun and lascannons from the jokearo (with re-rolls) to help with any flyers. The two teleporting dreadknights shunt first turn and use the incinerators, while the heavy psycannon marches across the board and puts down fire support.

List 2:

Draigo
solodin
solodin
vindicare
dreadknight, teleporter, incinerator
dreadknight, teleporter, incinerator

Similar, only with a vindicare for anything like raiders I might find, only 2 dreadknights, deep striking solodins for objectives, no flyer defense though

List 3:

5 grey hunters, meltagun, drop-pod
dreadknight, teleporter, incinerator
dreadknight, teleporter, incinerator
2 jokaero, 3 acolytes with plasma guns, 5 acolytes with boltguns

Ok so this list is going for an alpha strike, with the two dreadknights shunting turn one and a drop pod coming down with a meltagun for anti tank, JOTWW. No cover from aegis to would have to be careful how I deploy my henchman squads. I know allies is probably not worth it for this low points, however I feel it synergies quite well.



So there you have it, as I said Im looking for something that no-one would expect but also fun to play and quite strong, have I gone to far in terms of crazy, or are any of these lists actually any good? Help me out dakka

Nope, just looking at a fun apha striking list, wolves add a cheap melta delivery unit and jaws is amazing.

I prefer list 1 myself
