This is the list I've been playing most of 6th Ed. with a few tweaks such as adding a Fast Attack and a Heavy Support for the 2 missions where they count as scoring:
HQ
BikerBoss with PK, AS, CB, and BP. 150
Mad Doc Grotsnik 160
Elites
7 Lootas 105
7 Lootas 105
5 MegaNobz with CB 225
Trukk as dedicated transport with RR 40
Troops
10 BikerNobz with 1 PK and Banner, Painboy, and CB 570
30 Shootas with 2 BS, Nob with BS, EA, and PK 235
Fast Attack
5 Deffkoptas with Twin BS 175
Heavy Support
3 Lobbas with 3 ammo runts 84
Total 1849
At 2000 I run double FOC by adding another BikerBoss who rides with the Deffkoptas as a second cheap Nobbiker wannabe unit and dropping a Deffkopta for 10 Grots and a Runtherder
Depolyment
I always keep the Boyz in reserves preventing them from getting shot up at range and being able to use their full firepower for a turn. Anything other than a vehicle gets shot up quite a bit, and of course they're objective takers. They can surround an objective so well that it can be quite hard for an opponent to get within 3" for late game denial.
On the left third of the DZ go a unit of Lootas and the Lobbas in whatever terrain they can find. On the right third go the other Lootas and the Deffkoptas hiding behind terrain.
In the middle third I place the BikerNobz with Boss and the MegaNobz in Trukk with Grotsnik. I usually place a line of BLOS as close to the center line separating table halves as possible across the full distance of the middle 24". This allows a relatively safe staging area for all those Nobz and for when the Boyz come out of reserve.
Sometimes the DeffKoptas scout but with their 36" range and 12" move there's always something in range.
As far as Tactics go, that's it. Orks are about List making and deployment. Grotsnik MUST move towards the closest unit so that's up to my opponent. The Trukk has NEVER given my opponent First Blood. I have no idea why. Its been shot at a lot but always does its job. I used to charge the BikerNobz full speed ahead but I've been doing better shooting or Turboboosting to the side first turn. Usually the opponent has so wicked FMC going straight for them so they're in combat by Turn 2. Lobbas are used as Snipers or to take out backfield objective holders. They Deffkoptas are probably my most versatile unit. Their main job is constant harassment and annoyance along with softening up any non-vehicle unit.
When I was playing BW or Kan Wall in 5th I was always hurting for ranged shooting, now my units are all very mobile or have 48" range minus the Boyz whose only task is claiming the back objective and defending it.
I've been tabled exactly once since I started playing this list last fall against Iron Arm Tyranids. Otherwise I almost always have a few naked Bikers and the BannerPK Nob left with either the Painboy and/or Bikerboss. I like the 10 NobBikrs because the first 5 are just ablative wounds. Many games I've not lost a single Boy. At 1850 this list puts 15 Nobz and 2 HQ's in the opponent's DZ turn 2. All multi-wound models with 5++ and FNP and either a 4+ Cover/armor or 2+ Armor.
Meanwhile the Lootas, Lobbas, and Deffkoptas try to attack weak points but of course are totally disposable.
I almost always get First Blood, Slay the Warlord, and quite often Linebreaker. The the Boyz get one objective. If I can't table the opponent then the Koptas and Bikes and MegaNobz are very good at denying the opponent his objectives.

I tried the Deffkoptas today. They killed a scoring cultist blob and then glanced a scoring (big guns never tire) forgefiend to bits as well ~ single handedly drew me a game I otherwise would have lost. And thats *without* the Biker Boss attached to them.
Cheers for putting me onto them, they're actually damn good in the right circumstances.

Is Grotsnik only there to get the cyborks for the Manz because you don't really need them if you pick your targets right. It looks like you paid full price for the cybork body on the biker boss with Grotsnik you only pay 5pts not 10 so you get a little discount.
I'd drop Grotsnik for a 2nd Boss this one in Mega Armour he will make the MANZ scoring and give them a Boss Pole and take challanges from most things that will ignore a 2+ save most of which he won't be ID from.
Drop one bike for 2 more PK's in the nob biker unit you won't believe how much better they will be. For Orks's the PK is like a Special or Heavy weapon for a gunline army get as many into your list as possible without blowing too many points. 2-3 per assaulting unit including IC's is great. With the Bikeboss he can preform well solo so don't be afraid to break off from the group and assault a different target.

Lol, how about dropping Grotsnik and finding points for Ghazghull? Use the 2++ save in place of Cybork, makes your Nobs Troops, and makes them even more killier than before. Plus he can split off or take challenges.
Also, another thank you ~ this time for those Lobbas. You were right, they are simply fantastic. I can't wait to start using them with an Aegis/Lascannon I reckon there is some brutal synergy there.

Glad the list helped. I myself was doubtful about the Lobbas until someone clued me in on their sniping abitility. They're pretty hilarious for what they do. Also they got flamed by a Helldrake last game and their always T7 helped them survive enough to NOT take a Ld.
I'm really happy you like the BS DeffKoptas. They are the ultimate fun/versatile unit in that list where everyone else has a specific job.
Finally, to address your comments about Grotsnik: Ghaz would be awesome as he is T5 and EW. A possible issue with that would be that that Trukk would then be priority one for my opponents, if not equal to the NobBikerz a whole lot easier to stop and get First Blood. The Mad Doc adds a T5 model to take Str 8 and 9 hits, give cybork bodies to the MANz (and a 5 point discount to the BB), give the MANz FNP, and of course gives them Fearless which is super helpful.
It's rightfully viewed as a lesser threat than the Bikerz and is a bit of a wildcard but TBH it is also a great distraction. Since they're not scoring, it's a unit I'm happy to see die during the game as long as they go down swinging. Actually, I just remembered that next week, (last of our league this session) is Single :( FOC so Ghaz might make an appearance with 6 MANZ in a single suicide BW. Haven't used one in year!

After a confusing start to last nights game, the point total was finally revealed as 1999+1. I ran Ghaz instead of the MadDoc along with the MegaNobz in the Trukk (originally a BW when I thought the total was 2500 points!).
Trukk moves up the side and after the 5 DeffKoptas and Lootas explode a Rhino, Ghaz and the MegaNobz (awesome band name BTW) easily wipe out the 10 strong Chaos Marines inside. Next turn they get back in 3rd turn move and hide, fourth turn in kill more marines holding an objective, then sit and hold an objective to help me win the game.
Hey, it's great they were scoring but then of course I played way more cautiously with them. Never called the Waghhh, never needed to. Ghaz is going back in the box. 5++ could have helped my Nobz against Lascannon fire the last 3 turns of the game.
So for 1999+1 it's looking like Mad Doc is back, NO second BikerBoss :( , and just more Lootas and Grots! Otherwise Lobbas did fantastic, almost every d3 for my Lootas was a 1 and not a single 3 for the whole game! My NobzBikers got wiped off the board in a very rare event, damn those dual Chaos Dred lists, hurt me way more than Helldrakes! And my DeffKoptas finally rolled a successful Hit and Run roll!
And of course the Trukk carrying 6 MegaArmored models is never even shot at once the whole game. Might have to throw a rokkit on it to keep it useful.
