Subject: Farsight Enclaves, What is Farsight's Warlord Trait? And double Farsight?

Farsight has the Through Boldness, Victory Warlord Trait in Codex: Tau Empire
However, a Codex: Farsight Enclaves warlord does not have permission to generate a Warlord Trait, from this list. (Page 89, Codex: Farsight Enclaves, iPad)
What is his Warlord Trait? Must he roll for it on one of the tables he has permission to roll on?
Additionally, per Codex: Farsight Enclaves, they are BB allies with Codex: Tau Empire, does this mean that Farsight is unique per army or per detachment (since he is the only unique model that can ally with itself). (Page 89, Codex: Farsight Enclaves, iPad).

Quoting rules might be helpful since I don't think you can count on many people actually having the book available. I don't have it, but to take a stab at these:
I wouldn't say that Farsight "generates" his Warlord Trait from a table.
BRB p110 says that you can only have one of a unique model in an army, not in a detachment.

I thought so, but didn't have my rulebook at hand so couldn't be 100% sure on that.
For the record on the Warlord Trait part.
page 89 Codex: Farsight Enclaves wrote:When generating his Warlord Traits, a Farsight Enclaves Warlord may either roll on the Warlord Traits table in the Warhammer 40,000 rulebook or on the table opposite
Which to further what you said, I suppose the correct question is not, what is Farisght's Warlord Trait, but does having a fixed warlord trait count as 'rolling' on a particular table?

Without the Tau Supplement to hand, I'd presume it's the same as the Eldar Iyanden Suppliment in that you can choose characters from the main 'Dex (Such as the Pheonix Lords in Eldar) that have fixed Warlord traits, and those characters keep the fixed trait (since you have no option to roll if your trait is fixed).
So if Farsight doesn't have a seperate listing in Tau: Farsight Enclaves (with Wargear, stat line, special rules etc.) just a "buy this as per basic Tau book", then his Trait remains one from the basic Tau book.

Yes it does and I would tend to agree with you.

The Farsight enclave expansion has it's own version of Farsight which doesn't have a fixed warlord trait. (amongst other differences)

He still has the same Warlord trait in the supplement. I don't see any differences between his Tau entry and Farsight entry.
For those that roll traits, it's Rulebook or Farsight Enclave only. It does not say Codex: Tau at all, nor does it say "may".
As comparison, Iyanden says may roll on traits listed there, instead of Rulebook or Codex: Eldar.
