I mostly surf dakka from my phone (but I do it a LOT! ) which is a Lumina 920.

Ever since I started using the Lumina the "mobile friendly" theme has been bugging out and not showing anything, so I use the standard dark/orange skin.

Normally, when ever I would enter a thread it would make the text fit the screen automatically, increasing the font to a nice size and cutting of sentences so they would fit in one screen instead of having to scroll to the side all the time.

But ever since last night it has been acting weird. When ever I enter a thread it crops the text to the nice font and everything, but then when it finishes loading the entire page it all jumps back to "normal" view with tiiiiny font and without cutting of lines so I have to scroll to the side to read everything.

I don't know if it's related to this new update, but Lego suggested I posted here

ANY suggestions to fixing this would be much appreciated since I spend like 3 hours a day on dakka at least (bus rides to and from work ). Below is a link to my Skydrive with a picture of Dakka as it used to look on my phone and as it looks when the page is loading, and the second picture is this new "tiny format" that Dakka turns into when the page is done loading.

And to verify, all threads and pages appear like that? On the gallery, the forum, and the articles sections?

Nope, it's only "inside" threads that its bugging out. Every other page (gallery, article, forum pages and even thread posting and editing) is working just as normal.

And just to clarify, of course zooming in doesn't work its as if the page is a picture and when I zoom the text won't format correctly.

Will gladly do further checking and post more screenshots

I'm going to jump in here and confirm the OP's problem. I'm also using a Lumia 920, and since last night when I open a thread the text goes from legible (which is what the "menu" view is) to tiny need a microscope to read.

Also, the mobile theme works, there's just this crazy gap filled with the background , from the bottom of the header border to the top of the board index border (hope this makes sense ). Switching to the Dakka 2012 Dark/Orange theme works fine.

Oh yeah, mobile friendly actually works, it just has like two whole screens of blank before the text

But the font is fine in mobile friendly, so that's at least something.

No it isn't normal. I have been surfing dakka on this phone for 6 months and it just started tiny sizing ONLY thread text yesterday... Every other forum (ie non dakka forum) still works just fine.

So not normal, but actual problem

I started using a Nokia Lumia 520 with windows 8 to browse dakka. I can confirm that the mobile friendly has a huge chunk of empty background between the page menu and thread content that I have to scroll past.

You'll be pleased to hear I've actually (hopefully) made the fix to stop this bug now (as of 2 weeks ago), and the fix will go live this weekend

Although now I have to unlearn that I have to scroll down on every page on dakka still did it in the first thread I read since the fix
