As the title says i am interested to see what you've got on your painting table at the moment. Mine is a bit too hectic to take a photo of, but needless to say have a ton of models on it, including: my first ever space marine (awaiting isopropyl alcohol) my judgmental guardsmen squad (bought as an attachment to my DA ravenwing and still not done over a year later) and many more.

So is yours as bad?

Here's mine -- the first picture is my main painting table. The next one has all 4 of my workspaces -- painting, prep table, photography, and airbrush. The airbrush setup is actually normally by a window with an air extractor, but there is a portable air conditioner hooked up in that window at the moment The space that the airbrush is currently in is normally my basing table (because I'm not a big fan of getting glues near my brushes), but I don't use it much. The blue drawer to the left of my painting table has about 300 more paints :X

The way my painting table is set up is that the brushes on the left are for non-metallic, non-basecoat paints -- I use W&N Series 7, Raphael 8404, and Tamiya, and sizes range from 6/0 to 3. On the right I have a jar for basecoat and wash brushes (I'm rough with these), that are all cheapies, but I use everything from size 2-4 flats, some large rounds, and one 3/0 small round for doing fine washes. On the far right, I have my caddy for metallic paints, with some spare odds and ends like a couple of types of hobby knives and tweezers. So that I can keep them straight, I use Citadel brushes for metallic paints, as well as some W&N Cottman (synthetic) brushes and some old S7's. On the back, I have it organized with special paints on the left, metallics in the next section, nonmetallic citadel, and then washes, primers and washes, and then other tools and crud brushes. The two black boxes are P3 wet palettes, and to the far right is my surface pro 3

For the sharp-eyed, my airbrush table currently has two Paasche Talons (gravity fed). I also have a Paasche siphon single action that I never use, and an Iwata HP-CS, but its hose is leaky (the airbrush end is different than Paasche), and I haven't gotten around to buying a new one :(.

I have such envy for you folks without small children. Try to appreciate having all of your stuff out in the open without fear that someone will literally eat any of it.

Or pets. There are many things you can leave out that are not child or pet friendly. Hobby knife and bottle of paint accidentally left open immediately come to mind, but of course there are a zillion other things like tiny bits, and liquids that are toxic. My solution is that all my hobby stuff is in one room, and I simply close the door when I am not in it

Having a dedicated space is key when dealing with small children. As my set up is in the basement, I didn’t have to worry. The same child-proof lock that kept him falling down the stairs kept my space Boy-free. He’s 8 now, so I don’t have to worry as much.

Here is my painting space. I should get a better pic of my assembly bench at some point, but it’s basically a rolling printer stand I keep next to my computer.

Well I don't have a picture of my desk but right now I think I have an unopened skaven warp lightning cannon and a few skaven heroes (plus a bag of 40 slaves)

I don't quite have enough room on my desk for the models I need to paint so I have 3 shelves with all my armies in a closet.

This is the only shot I have of my skaven project so far (that's about 3500 points)

^does doing nurgle mean that you are keeping all those dirty dishes out so the food bits get nice and crusty and you glue them onto the models for extra nurglyness?
For realz tho...should clean those dishes up lol just kidding (sorta)

Painting table was recently cleaned up a bit after getting a little scary/messy due to too many projects being worked on at the same time.

Airbrush corner is in the unfinished part. Larger version here.
