Hi Dakkanauts!

I'm a newish member here on DakkaDakka, and thought I should get some posts under my belt. I thought a good way to start is to post some of the models I painted. See, I'm not a tactical genius or a machine that splurts out crazy/original lists, but I really do enjoy the painting aspect of the hobby. I won't be winning any Golden Demons, but I try to learn something new with every new model I paint. I currently have a Tomb Kings army, a Lizardmen army (which is my current focus) and a budding group of Necrons, which are all unpainted at the moment... Oh, and just recently my friends and I decided to start dapple in Infinity, and I chose the Nomads.

Anyhow, I just thought I could show you some of my more recent works from the jungles of Lustria. You can also always click the link on my signature, which takes you to my painting blog on the Lustria Online, if you are curious to see more.

Any questions and comments are always welcome!

And some salamanders (these are actually the oldest of the punch, I painted them over a year ago):

Hope you enjoyed!

Thanks, Ratius! Yeah, I really like bright colours, and as such Lizardmen are very good for me. I have read a bit about colour theory (and by bit, I mean articles from internet, not any actual books...) and try to think of how the colours work together. I understand if somebody thinks that there's too much colours there, though. Even I stopped thinking after the Stegadon whether I used too many of them or not.

That turquoise effect is superb. It's always nice to see some Lizards. Cheers!
