Any proof on this dude?

I suppose if you could take 3 priests as one slot it wouldn't be too bad, but I like to run Dante and a Librarian... hmm anyway I'm excited to get my hands on this book!

This Is Not Speculation. Go onto the games workshop webstore and check it out. The reason I didn't post it in news and rumours is because the blood Angels thread is PACKED and new ones are usually ignored (tried it before).

No I do realize the book is there, I have one on order already... but are these rules 'speculation'?

How have Tacticals been beefed up?
The spruce has a grav gun and in the pics floating around the squad has two special weapons.

The point of having one thread is to avoid 30 threads starting for various things all related to that one topic. This thread defeats that.

Just to be clear, this is what's on the website:

Spoiler:

The 112-page, full colour hardback codex contains:
- Background of the origin of the Blood Angels, their Chapter organisation, successor Chapters, colour schemes and heraldry
- Details of a brand new Blood Angels successor Chapter, the Carmine Blades
- An explanation of the most famous events and battles from the Chapter’s history
- Descriptions of all of the units and characters available to the Blood Angels.
- A showcase of beautifully Blood Angels miniatures
- Rules for fielding your collection of Blood Angels in games of Warhammer 40,000 including army special rules, warlord traits, and a formation for a Battle Company
- Wargear includes weapons only available to the Blood Angels, special issue wargear and the Relics of Baal
- The Sanguinary Discipline - a psychic power only available to the Blood Angels
- Baal Strike Force - a unique Detachment force organisation chart
- 6 Tactical Objectives exclusive to the Blood Angels

In addition, if you buy the $200 version, you get a free, $40 book. Because we know that $60+$40 = $200 (Canadian here):

Spoiler:

Sons of Sanguinius: Blood Angels Painting Guide is a 176 page paperback painting guide for the Blood Angels. Inside you will find four fantastic miniatures collections - The Archangels, The Blooded, The Lost Brethren, and Strike Force Razorwind of the Flesh Tearers Chapter. Each collection is presented with a detailed background and history. It presents clear, detailed stage-by-stage photography that provides all the information you need to recreate the painting techniques, colour schemes and markings on your own miniatures.

Ok fine, I lied, you get a slipcover, a wallet with 7 prints, and it's individually numbered so you get to know that you are one of the 1,500 people in the world who really, really love blood angels (since that's all they printed).

The Baal strike force could be an armored one with lots of fast tanks, Baal Predators in particular.

There is hardly a tradition related to Lords of War. The whole concept in 40K is not even a year old, and even in FW/Heresy it is under 3 years old. Not enough time to call anything a "tradition". They are likely still experimenting with it themselves, mining data, floating ideas, etc...

Either way, it's another one of those questions that has already been answered in the main Blood Angels thread.

Hence why duplicate threads are a bit tiresome. They lack all the information of the main thread, or they would be just as long as the main thread in the first place, no?

Already posted in the main thread but since this one seems to want some life too, here's pretty much all the rumors and proof of rumors that people have gotten together.

Sorry, this is speculation. Where does it say Death Company are Elites and Priests are HQ? I assume you are looking at the slots where the models are? I guess we can assume Lemartes is under Troops and Corbulo is under Elites then? If you would read the main BA thread you would realize all of this has been covered already.

No, he's looking at the website. When you navigate to Blood Angels and click the Elite section, the Death Company are there, along with Beother Corbulo and the normal Sang Guuard, furioso Dread. Click the troops and there's the new Tac squad and Chaplain Lemartes, Guardian of the Lost. But it has been covered before. Old news.

It's speculation when models that are part of the same unit appear in two different FOC slots and you write a post claiming it's one or the other. I'm just trying to keep the rumor mill honest. That's why I spent so much time compiling everything on my blog. Link here: http://dedard.blogspot.com/2014/12/blood-angels-compiled-mega-post.html?m=1

Funny the Death Company in the Deathstorm supplement they are troops. Unless this is a special case to me DC will be troops and scoring since it doesn't say in Deathstorm that they are not scoring.

Again unless that is a special case. But seeing how it's released one week before the codex, can't see why there would be a major change then.

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

Lemartes, death company upgrade character is listed as a troop choice still. So a guy giving a list of what is currently nothing more than guesses makes it speculation I would think

Why not. It will give you a reason to play the death storm supplement.

Or, it is possible that GW has the Death Company coded wrong on their website. Be it that we have more evidence that DC are troops than we do that they are elites, I an putting my money on the website being wrong.
