Hi fellow 40k'ers. My young son recently discovered my 12 year old Eldar set in a closet. He's an artist and fell in love with the idea of moving from paper to miniatures. Since then he's looked at the 40k races, checked out a couple of games at our local Games-Workshop store (we're lucky to have one 20min from home), and has fallen in love with Orks. The guys at the store have been great and after seeing the first couple of figures he painted, have either donated orks and things (or sold them to me for next to nothing) to keep my son going. He's surprisingly good at painting them for his age.
Anyhow, I'm looking forward to posting here, getting to know the 40k community, and most of all appreciate any advice to nourish this love my son has for his orks and 40k.

As for myself, I still have my Eldar, but recently discovered I may want to play Stormwolves. Either way we'll focus on fluff gaming over serious competitiveness until he's a lot older ;-)

Thanks!

Welcome!

My oldest boy (11) is also a big ork fan (he says my marines all look the same...)

Enjoy!

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka
