I cant help it but everything screams power metal to me If I see AoS art I hear Dragon Force. Should i be painting my Stormcaste I can only listen to Hammerfall or Dark Moor or some other similar Rift bending , gaitar screaming, sweet power ballads.
I'm wondering what all you guys think of or feel when looking at, reading, playing painting or fapping to Age of sigmar.

We need more power metal in our lives...maybe doom rider will return with slaanesh on his bike as his gurl/man lover...

Speaking of my new favorite team... I cant figure out why I like Sigmarines and not space marines? I know I like how they look in comparison or maybe it's because Sigmar's boys just feel like good guys I just dont know.

Me personally I think of "A Flock of Seagulls" when I look at them.

Well, Rhapsody of Fire has been creeping back into my playlists lately, especially the painting lists, and these two songs recall the Stormcast pretty well for me, yeah, I have a thing about associating songs with "geeky" things.

They are quite glorious. But I now kind of do want a slaaneshi army made up of glam rocker style warriors. Make the leader look like Ziggy Stardust era Bowie... or maybe Labyrinth Bowie.

funny, GW started out with funny units and game that is about fun, became a serious one and now returns back to its roots and people complain, I for one am very happy, they should really bring back things like guitar wielding space warriors etc... I miss humour in my games


edit - I gotta say, I am a jazz man myself but I am now forced back into my power metal phase, thanks OP... its always good to vary the music you listen too.

I don't see it, perhaps the music you paint to influences your view of the models. I know it did for my Imperial guard listening to killzone music.
