That is a big gun. Unobtainium had better be pretty light.

I think they're going to be 'hard plastic' - unless you're talking about 'in game reality' in which case, yes, they are a 50/50 alloy of Unobtanium and Impossibilium.

Are the character models and vehicles resin? Restin-plastic? Lead?

I can't seem to find any picture of raw or painted models, just renders, which makes me a bit nervous.

Their Lincoln sure is sweet though.

All characters and vehicles are Resin.

Their casting is really well done.

The characters and vehicles are 'true and real resin, the resin you're used to referring to as resin' resin.

The renders translate really well to the models too, though there are some that are different enough that it is probably worth finding the 'painted' versions to make sure you like how the poses translated to miniatures.

The 'hired hands' models are all, I think, HIPs 'hard plastic'.

I actually have CCLE-K9, Copelie Sisters and a few others. They are assembled and primed so I can take some pictures when I get home this evening.

They are actual resin, really nice casts and pretty much what you see in the render is what you get in the miniature (at least for K9 and Copelie Sisters). On the website under 'Product Description and Stats' they do list if they are made from resin or plastic.

Yes, it is!

Made by WGF too, so the same as Wyrd's plastic stuff, and the same place that Dreamforge and Kingdom Death are getting their stuff made too...

Unfortunately it was a hectic day, ended up being stuck at work later so I didn't get much time to get new pictures tonight. I did find I had some existing ones on my computer though, they were taken after I just finished gluing them together. They are uncleaned and not primed yet. Hopefully tomorrow I can take some more pictures.

Spoiler:
CCLE-K9 (Pose 1) - Resin Sprue:

CCLE-K9 (Pose 1):

Rabecca Copelie:

Missy Copelie:

If you notice the swirling detail on her pants and cuffs, they are also on the back of the hand cannon around it as well.

We'll find out soon enough eh.

Dark Severance, any chance when you're taking photos you could do a pic of the CCLE-K9 next to a GW human model? They look like they'd make fantastic cyber-mastiffs, but given the HUEG scale WWX uses I'm a bit leery of ordering one only to find out it's as tall as a guardsman.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

"Your society's broken, so who should we blame? Should we blame the rich, powerful people who caused it? No, lets blame the people with no power and no money and those immigrants who don't even have the vote. Yea, it must be their fething fault." - Iain M Banks
-----
"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal

I love how this, and not aliens, is the concern when it comes to historical accuracy

Word!

I like that explanation, actually.

But yes, as noted above, an odd thing to pick on in this Weird Wild West setting - roarrrrr!

Maybe he can bring some blind undead templars alogn with him?

I'm genuinly curious what these new armies will consist of. Especially the Spaniards. Maybe we'll see some conscripted natives? Golden automatons? Some flashy halberdiers or musketeers that can moonlight in an Empire force?

The aliens can probably get some cross play value as well.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

^ Is his army the classic Renaissance Spanish (Morrion and Cuirass) or those of the Spanish-American War?

Do they use muzzle loading arquebuses/mosquets or the Mauser repeating rifles?

Didn't go in for the first one but I might be tempted this time around as the discount was decent and the game seems to have some legs.

I'll be scoping it out Monday.

Saw the original campaign, but I don't think I had fully succumbed to KS yet.

I'll be on the lookout for animal people and aliens most likely.

Lone Cat's post however has me in the mood for a cybernetics enhanced Roosevelt, especially after having had to read about him all week with my students. Preferably walking softly and carrying a big stick. Or possibly on top of a robotic bear.

No, Lincoln was quite tempting, and I'm sure will make it into my collection at some point.

As will the Bill the Butcher inspired figure.

Then I can have Daniel Day Lewis vs Daniel Day Lewis battles. It'd be like the Horus Heresy, except much better acted.
