HUGE request for you Mad Robot Dude!
On Xbox, you have the option of buying costumes for your avatar. Mine is currently a Colonial Defense Force type uniform.
With one difference between the official movie uniform and your figures: The helmet has goggles on it. Like the kind the Army Rangers wore in Black Hawk Down.
Now, I could use greenstuff and sculpt the goggles on to your helmets....
Or maybe you could find some time to make CDF helmets with goggles????
Just a thought...
( or you could make separate, modern goggles, like someone else suggested, that would fit on helmets....)

none of the marines in the movie had goggles on the helmet, you are referencing the video game cover where one guy had goggles on his helmet, the rest had different kinds of head gear.

CDF heads with goggles might be worth a look, easy enough to put together. If you're willing to settle for only one or two facial expressions, I can get them done quicker but it will still be late summer or early fall before I could get to them.
Best bet is to remind me in a few months

That would be fine! Not like the GW IG figures had different expressions! And I'm currently finishing up a SM army before returning to Guard, so later is fine!
I also had a thought about female CDF.....All you'd really need to do is heads and arms. While women might be shorter/slimmer, with the body armor/uniform you can't really tell any differences. The reason you'd need to do arms is because of man hands......

The limited expressions shouldn't be too big a deal since one would assume most people are going to mix these with the other heads with the same helmet.. You could make helmets by themselves as well so people can chop the top of the heads off and do their own helmet swaps.

Try this for the goggles http://blogs.sega.com/2012/08/29/aliens-colonial-marines-xbox-360-avatars-now-available/
Just made a list that I really like and these guys are perfect for it, as well as your Lykans.
I'll being using the CDF in 40K as not-scouts, and will be scratchbuilding some kind of gunship to represent the LSS.
Some Mantic Dwarfs to represent Squat flamethrower troopers, my Deathwatch Vanguard Veterans....And maybe one of the rescue team heads <wink wink> to represent the not-Assassin.
Very excited....will place the order for CDF bodies and weapons soon.
Oooh I had an even better idea...instead of Deathwatch Marines, I'll rig up a mini-exoskeleton like in Edge of Tommorrow around CDF bodies. That way the whole army will be 90% Mad Robot and CDF!

Made a small order for 5 guys to work on the exo-suits. I plan on making one suit and then casting up the other 10. The army will be a mix of the movies Aliens, Avatar and Edge of Tomorrow. Thanks for making the CDF guys else this would not be possible!
Keith
And for drop pods, maybe some influence from Starship Troopers. Any other military in space movies I can steal from????

I got my 5 guys in and started work on the exo-suits for them to wear. It won't be hard to make them out of plasticard....too small to really cast up and replicate in resin, except maybe the back packs.
But I ran into a problem...arms. While there are several generic left arms that I can use, almost all right arms out there are posed in some way that prohibits their use....
Then I looked at the pic of your not-fallschirmjaeger dude with the axe.....that arm would be perfect to convert to an exosuit right arm.
Please tell me those are coming out soon and the arms will be available separetely?????

Straight up, that tank won't happen as it is. I pushed to make it work in a certain way and reality wouldn't allow it. There will need to be a big re-tool of the mesh and and the design and I'll try again. It honestly won't be back on my radar until some time in 2016.
However, there may be a different tank concept that could happen sooner than the tiger. I mean, if one tank is good, 2 or 3 would be even better right?

Well, I am looking always for Armored Personnel Carriers with decent weapon load outs myself, troops need safe rides in battle-zones, right?

Jet powered Ju52's for the Not Fallshirmjaeger ?
Skdfz251 to go with the Tiger ?
Just a thought Steve but if start up of a complete model is problematic why not make conversion kit for already existing tanks etc ?
Tamiya would be a good bet here , readily available, cheap and there are already loads of aftermarket conversion kit makers aimed at their product so minimal copyright issues ???

Let's be honest....a drop ship would be a collectible item/show piece that would be expensive and hard to make. The only "dropship" that is in general gaming today is 40K's Storm Raven, and that is a Space Marine item.
Now gunships and transports like say, 40K's Valkryie/Vendetta would be doable, but coming up with a unique design that supplants those, or is usable for other games is the tough one. Not to mention costs...
I have been writing up some easy to play sci-fi RPG and accompanying wargame rules, and have been hard pressed finding decent sci-fi transports/vehicles, including air transports and dropship type vehicles. Probably because there isn't really a market, or what market there is does not justify the expense.

I'm definitely talking about a gunship/lander, and costs are an important factor, it is for any vehicle. The fun thing about owning the company is that I can take chances on things that may or may not work, as long as I think they look cool
That being said, I still have a desire to make them, lol. At some point it will happen, just a matter of finding the right design at the right time.

That being said....Unlike a plastic kit that costs upwards of 50K just to create the mold, let alone the design cost, with a resin kit, all you need to do is design, make a master, and then you can cast per order and don't need to hold a large inventory, unlike plastic kits. ( I'm sure you know this, but the average person may not).
