I finally got all the parts I needed from the Warstore. So here is my mockup. All the parts are just tacked together.
I have not cleaned the flash and such. I just wanted to get some opinions before I went for the paint and glue.

Looks good - I think his lightning claw would look more natural repositioned in a more horizontal orientation, but that would mess up the cables and be generally a pain in the arse, so I have nothing constructive to add.

You...You besmirch the artifacts of the most holy Templars, Heretic!!
Seriously, he looks pretty good. Maybe put his right arm pointing more up like he just slashed someone from foot to head.
I was going to use the tabards for my BT Termies so it's good to see a nice example.

Yeah I will have to work on the arms. That particular tabard is very hard to fit with any of the legs. I had to due some chopping which I will try to fix with green stuff.
I am doing a squad with tabards at the moment. I will post pictures when I get them together.

Nice pose! I must strongly disagree with those calling for arm-repositioning. Thing is, the rest of his body is in a crouched rather than active pose. He's not recovering from or preparing for a strike right that moment: He's gesturing and preparing to fight something. And the gesture is kind of entreating rather than straight-up violent, which suggests more story than "I'm about to hit something."

Anyways, looks good. Nice coordination of the positioning with the swirl of the fabric bits, too.

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

Savnock now that you pointed out the legs pose. I have to agree with you. If you put the arms like I originally said it might possibly look funny. Good call Savnock.

Thank you Savnok. That was the kind of look I was going for. I was just hoping people would get it before I went for the permanent edition.

Oh and I am trying to get a hold of a set of FW Deathwing shoulder pads so that I can give him that fully kitted out look.

Why aren't you going with the more filled up dark angels heraldry flag thingy? It looks much more dark angely to me. And your commander has more cChaos and Black Templar to him than Dark Angel so far.

I agree though with that left(outstretched" arm of his. It looks too much like he is trying to shake somebody's hand other than do damage to some Chaos. I would suggest that you either leave his arm down and maybe twist the hand so the palm is facing forward. Or, have the arm stick out to the side.
Either way I just wanna say that that is one fine looking chap! Congrats! And where did you get that head? I likey!
